BMW Academy: A Call to Action “Brothers Reaching Brothers”
I must commend Dr. Roszalyn Akins and Dr. Roger Cleveland for putting forth this “Call to Action” to our community. Dr. Akins and Dr. Cleveland set forth a charge asking for 100 black men to attend this special BMW Academy program.
I was honored to attend and share my remarks with our students, honored guests, and families. My remarks underscored the importance of mentorship and the positive impact mentors can have in the lives of our black and Latino males.
