Dig for Decker

On Monday, I had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser sponsored by Morton Middle School’s volleyball team during their match with Leestown.  The volleyball team, along with others, held this fundraiser to raise donations for UK Children’s Hospital – Hematology and Oncology Clinics.

The purpose for this fundraiser was Decker – a 19 month old baby who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.  All of those in attendance were not only “champions for children”, but on this occasion we were all “Champions for Decker” and his family as he continues to undergo treatment.  I urge you to please keep Decker and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
