Nobel Peace Prize winner visits Maxwell
Dr. Satyarthi visited Maxwell this week and inspired students to love one another, to believe in themselves, and to dream. He reminded students that they are part of a global family and therefore must care about what is happening around the world.
Students greeted Dr. Satyarthi as he entered the school and led him and his wife to the gymnasium for an all school assembly in his honor. During the assembly, students at each grade level performed songs, read poems, and posed questions to Dr. Satyarthi. By all accounts, it was an inspiring event that touched everyone in attendance.
Kudos to our students, parents, teachers, staff, and Principal James for a wonderful and memorable event!
