Week in Review

This week was another wonderful week in Fayette County Public Schools.  I had the pleasure of visiting our schools including Wellington Elementary School, Southern Middle School, and Bryan Station Middle School.  it was great to see the learning experiences unfolding for students each and everyday.

I also attended the legislative event in Frankfort to strengthen our relationships with our state legislators and business leaders.

I concluded my week by visiting Clays Mill Elementary School.  CME has continued to reach for excellence under the leadership and stewardship of principal Davis.  We are all proud of the work underway at CME.  Kudos to the leadership team, teachers, staff, students, and families!

Lastly, I attended the 33rd Annual Kentucky American Water Science Fair coordinated by FCPS.  Kudos to David Helm and the wonderful volunteers and judges that made this event possible.  More importantly, I want to recognize the students who participated in this event.  Way to go!
