Global Cities Education Network Symposium 2019

Global Cities Education Network Symposium 2019 was held in Australia. This year, I was able to attend along with district team comprised of district personneland our business partners.

During our visit, we shared our work on how we teach and assessing our high school students on 21st century skills/soft skills. We also learned from other future forward cities/systems on what they are doing to prepare their children for life in a global society. Our partner cities include Hong Kong, Shanghai, Toronto, Denver, Melbourne, and Singapore.

Although our takeaways were many, we decided on a set of actionable commitments that we would implement in the 2019-2020 school year.
