Festivals and Band Competitions: The BEST of Lexington on full display!

A great weekend full of festivals and wonderful performances from our high school bands! I had the pleasure of attending the Lafayette High School Band Competition and watching our bands perform (Dunbar, Henry Clay, and Tates Creek). Kudos to our students, band directors, volunteers, and band parents for making each performance a success!

Fayette County Public School’s Equity Office and others volunteered their time through our GIVE 10 initiative, to support our work at both the Kentucky Chinese American Association Moon Festival Celebration and the Festival Latino de Lexington. Kudos to our colleagues who volunteered and visited these festivals to share in the celebrations with our students, families, and community!
