UK Men’s Basketball Team Delivers Lunches to Picadome Students!
Kudos to coach Calipari and the UK Men’s Basketball Team for delivering bags of food from God’s Pantry to Picadome students! The food went into backpacks that were sent home with students on Friday to make sure our children and families had enough food for the weekend.
Players shared how they apply P.R.I.D.E (Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, Excellence), which is Picadome’s school wide expectations, to their daily lives in order to reach their dreams. The examples our players shared both motivated and inspired our students to live their lives with P.R.I.D.E.!
Also while at Picadome, the UK players entertained our students, teachers, and staff with an amazing display of basketball skills and talent. Players engaged students at every grade level with fun games and spirited competition. Our children enjoyed themselves as they competed with some of the best basketball players in the country!
