Week In Review
Another wonderful week in Fayette County! I had the pleasure of attending the Chamber of Commerce annual dinner with board members and central office staff. I held another session with my “Student Voice Team” at Tates Creek High School. My student voice team is focused on improving the quality of school lunches and addressing bias, discrimination, and racism.
We held our monthly district leadership team where our talented school leaders shared practices and worked together to increase student success. During lunch, we were treated to a wonderful performance by our SCAPA students. Later in the week, I visited Crawford Middle School and the Carter G. Woodson Academy. I had great time visiting classes, talking to students, teachers, and staff. Way to go Mustangs and CGW!
