Mitchell Family Foundation Luncheon

This week, I was fortunate to attend the Mitchell Family Foundation Luncheon.  During the luncheon, coach Mitchell shared the foundation’s work for the year in partnership with Fayette County Public Schools.  This work includes providing every first grader with a copy of a book and implementing the Anti-Virus character education program in all of our middle schools.  I had the opportunity to share with those in attendance our future plans to provide students in our Empowerment Zone Schools with S.L.A.M – Summer Learning And More!  The keynote speaker for the luncheon was Dr. Maxwell.  Please find pictures from this event below:
