R.E.A.L MEN READ

We launched our R.E.A.L (Read, Excel, Achieve, Lead) Men Read initiative, in partnership with United Way, our 16th District PTA, Scholastic, and Top Dogs (Lansdowne Elementary School’s PTA).

This initiative seeks to bring men into our schools to read to our students.  Having our community come along side of what our teachers are doing to foster a community of readers and to show our boys that reading is cool is the goal.   To realize this goal for our students we need – you.  We need you to “Give 10” by giving your time reading to our students.  Kudos to the Lansdowne PTA and Top Dogs for implementing this initiative!
